Who would’ve thought that a simple comment — “Taga STI ka, di ba?” — on a Facebook story would be the start of something so special and beautiful?

On February 27, 2021, Lorenz casually replied to Kyle Ann’s Facebook story with that one line. Out of curiosity, he visited her profile, watched her TikTok videos, and something about her instantly caught his attention. At that moment, he had a feeling — she might be the one.

After a few hours, Kyle Ann finally responded: “Oo, bakit?” Short and straightforward. To Lorenz, she seemed mataray, masungit, and probably not interested. But that didn’t stop him. Being persistent (and a bit of a sad boy), he kept trying to reach out, eventually mustering up the courage to ask her out on a date.

And the rest, as they say, is history.
